I strongly support this wish!
It drives me nuts to have a "economic" placement, because for ME economic means a \
window pops up, where I last closed it. This makes it "economic" for me to find the \
window. "economic" is great, if you like it. Also, you can use an "economic" \
placement, if a window is opened for the first time.

"random" position is some odd feature. Who actually uses it?

PLEASE add a policy "remember". And make it remember different functions of konquerer \
(one placement and size for file browsing, one other for internet browsing...) \
