Summary: Konqueror not printing 'image' type form fields
Product: konqueror
Version: unspecified
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: bart@gigabee.com
Version: 3.1.95-0.fdr.0.1 Red Hat (using KDE 3.1.95-0.fdr.0.1, Red Hat \
Linux (Yarrow))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20031022 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.2-1)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.1-1.126
Konqueror doesn't seem to be printing the images loaded on a page through INPUT \
TYPE="image" even with print-friendly mode under 'HTML Settings' turned off. This is \
especially noticeable at the US Postal Service web site: \
http://mapsonus.switchboard.com/bin/maps-showpoi/usr=~401bd11d.d3c7f.c0f.7/c=2/refsrc=USPS/poi=zusps:6329
The map on the page is loaded as an input image. If I try to print the page out, I \
get the USPS logo at the top, the 'Post Office Locator' graphics in the header, and \
text areas and select form fields do print, but everywhere there's an input image \
type, including that large rectangle for the map, I just get a medium gray colored \
box instead. I wouldn't think you guys turned printing of those images off to \
conserve ink since regular images do print and some of the images would have used up \
less ink if they were printed instead of the gray box being printed. \
