I tried that yesterday, and it didn't make any difference.

Well, that's a bit difficult, as I'm now at work, and have just
an ssh session to that computer (no doubt my wife was a bit
surprised when a dialog box popped up on her computer). However,
when I tried to fix this yesterday evening the first app was
Konqueror, and the first embedded view (indeed, the only one)
was khtml.
