It seems you have misunderstand me. I have tried to make KWord's export filters work again.
KWord's import filters has been left how they were, as KWord 0.9 can load also older files.
My philosophy is to modifiy the minimum, as KWord 0.9 is not stable.
Therefore most of KWord's import filters create files that are not following the current DTD.

I am reading the KWord DTD in order to get some basic code written for the
StarOffice filter. There are some differences in the DTD and the code for
the ASCII filter that I am using as a template. For example, in the PAPER
element the DTD specifies "width" and "height" attributes that should be
measured in millimeters. The code for the ascii filter writes out
attributes: mmWidth/mmHeight, inchWidth/inchHeight.

Because I saw some posts by Nicolas Goutte regarding updates to the ASCII
filter, I am assuming that the information in koffice/kword/dtd/kword.dtd is
correct and am following that. Is it possible that my DTD is out of date? I
use kde-cvsbuid to download the code from cvsup.kde.org and last downloaded 2
days ago and also assuming cvsup.kde.org is most up-to-date....

I will run CVSup again to get the code for the new ASCII filter but would
like to avoid that (slow link).
