Hmm!
That was only an example what could be supplied.
I also can think of nationalized templates, which won't go through i18n.
* Fax form in english, french, german ....
* Business letter

So either we decide to suply the minimum templates or we have to decide on a
reasonable structure.

BTW I do not agree that setting up templates is that easy.
Example:
The footer should contain:
- left: directory+filename
- middle: Page x of y
- rigth: Date Time

For this it is necessary (probably not the easiest solution) to
* insert a table with 1 row and 3 columns in the footer
* adjust the font size
* insert the 5-6 variables
* adjust the allignment to middle and rigth respectively
* save the template (A4+portrait+footer)

IMHO not only novices will fail to do that.

Now change the page orientation to landscape. (kword 1.1 with KDE 2.2.2)
The table in the footer does not automaticaly extend to the new width of the
page and looks ugly.
So it is necessary to save A4 + landscape + footer template to avoid
repeating adjustments.

BTW
Is it possible to define a "company wide" template directory somewhere on a
LAN/WAN?
This migth be a useful option for teleworkers.
