QT 4.2 is almost here. The problem is that we still have applications
being built against QT 3.X that are still being released. It seems that
every other day a new KDE application is being built or designed that is
based on the current stable KDE which is going to seriously break under
QT 4. It seems like the KDE application developers (NOT THE KDE team)
are writing applications that will clearly break. Even Trolltech has
discouraged this practice in their documentation.

KDE 3.5.X is great except that it cannot be built against QT 4.1 or QT
4.2. The website should contain more information about KDE 4 CVS and KDE
4 stuff as well as the progress that he KDE 4 team is making towards the
stabilization of the source code.

I am eagerly awaiting KDE 4 because I am writing QT 4 based code.

Thanks,

Andrew
