I'm not trying to be glib or rude, because I'm often just as guilty as
the next guy about not searching the mail archives.  That being said, a
quick search on the kde-user mail archives (using __fxstat as the search
term) revealed the following solutions on the first page of the results
page:

download qt and all kde packages for libc6 as your system may have also
libc5 for compatibility issues, but is libc6 based. Install those and
everything should be running...

Yep, I installed the libc6 version of KDEBeta4, and now I don't get that

__fxstat thing anymore..  Also, make sure you install the rpms in the
right order..  support, libs, then base.... then all the other rpms.

This is also known as the hurricane release of Redhat... I had the same
problem when I tried the libc5 version, then realized I needed the libc6

for RH 5.0 aka hurricane...
