so now I changed the color to one of the official Oxygen colors. But
using inkscape for producing something better is something I would have
to learn first.

I recently ported Kajongg to Windows
(see http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=103206).

The old icon does not look good on Windows at all, and I would prefer
to have the same icon for Windows and Linux. That is why I want to
get it into 4.13.

Maybe one of the artists finds time to look at that icon for 4.13 or
maybe 4.13.1
