Some things to think about if you do take over kdenetwork:

KRFB is currently unmaintained and need *lots* of work. It is
fantastically out of date, and has some major bugs, two of which being
a reoccurring crash and a severe speed problem that has to do with the
way the technology was implemented. I know it is a program without a
clear alternate being available but even so I don't think it should be
released with KDE4 unless a maintainer can be found to correct the
underlying issues.

KRDC may have lost its maintainer again. Andreas Kling had volunteered
to take over as maintainer but he has been completely out of touch
since October of last year, and at this point I'm starting to think
something may have happened to him. I think KRDC should be considered
unmaintained at this point until Andreas's whereabouts are determined.
Brad Hards may be interested in taking over, at least the rdp portion.
