Arg, looks like may be tickling another bug in yum. libnoatun*.so.* is
in kdemultimedia-extras. Or... your fedora mirror isn't current (yet).
The new kdemm-extras was built only within the last couple of days.

OK. xine-lib-moles came from freshrpms (as did my copy of xine). I've
uninstalled the freshroms packages and installed livna's xine instead.
I'm still left with the
kdemultimedia-extras-3.5.7-1.fc6.5 conflicts with file from package
kdemultimedia-3.5.7-1.fc6
problem...

Ugh, I *totally* wish this rpmfusion (aka united nonfree repos idea)
gets some traction soon, so we don't have this livna vs freshrpms, vs
(whoever) wars (as much) anymore.

rpm -e --nodeps kdemultimedia
rpm -e --nodeps kdemultimedia-extras
yum install kdemultimedia kdemultimedia-extras
should do the trick. Fedora's kdemultimedia-3.5.7-1.fc6 doesn't contain
the offending file, so I *think* we may have distributed a
kdemultimedia-3.5.7-1.fc6 at one time that did (before fc6 was updated
to kde-3.5.7 properly). That was after the time where I inadvertantly
lost our .kde repotags in Release (switching mock build environment),
and never actually got round-tuit to fix.

Woohoo! I'm fixed! Seems there was a rogue kde-multimedia-extras-nonfree-3.5.6
from livna in the way. Had to remove that as well. The update ran OK, and I
seem to have all the kdemm packages I need:
$ rpm -qa|grep kdemultimedia
kdemultimedia-extras-3.5.7-1.fc6.5
kdemultimedia-extras-nonfree-3.5.7-3.lvn6
kdemultimedia-3.5.7-1.fc6
Thanks again, Rex!

Subject: [kde-redhat-users] Does here serve as the KDE SIGs mailing list?
Message: 7
I am a bit confused about the division of labour in Fedora in
reference to KDE :
the fedora-desktop list seems to be unconcerned with things KDE, yet
the scope of the discussions, and possible decisions seem to go beyond
Gnome; to system wide changes. If decisions aren't limited to Gnome,
shouldn't discussions include KDE?
I apologize if this isn't the proper channel to pose this questions,
I'm just not yet certain of my availability for the KDE SIG's IRC
meetings.
Thank you.
