hello Rex,

    Is it safe to leave the "exclude=*?86" in yum.conf permanently? it
wont affect my overall system for other packages?

Should be safe. That's what I have on my x86_64 boxes.

Howdy List,

I did a fresh install of Fedora Core 6, having been a long time user of Fedora Core 4
and the kde-redhat packages.

My fonts look ok, but they are not the same ones I had before.
For example, my konsolerc shows
 defaultfont=Monospace,8,-1,5,50,0,0,0,0,0

and that was what I had before (in my backup .kde dir)

but the font looks different than pre-upgrade.

Same problem with kmail, konverstation, and the entire desktop.

Any idea why many of my fonts are different?

-Allen
