I tried, but it failed to build for fc6, see
http://bugzilla.livna.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1207

Worked around the fc6 bug, for now, using
./configure --disable-new-ldflags

Will do.

Subject: [kde-redhat-users] KDE pop up calendar
Message: 2

Hello KDE RedHat,

Can't wait for KDE 3.5.5!

In the meantime, I have a little problem, which is the
format of the little pop up calendar. I put a picture
here:

http://www.advanced-app.com.hk/MiscJunk/KDEcalendar.png

The problem is, as an American, I am accustomed to
seeing Sunday in the left column, so I sometimes
forget that this is different and I misread the date.

Is there any way to select the format with Sunday on
the left?

Thanks,

Rick Graves

Right click on the calendar in Kicker, choose "Time & Date Format..."
Goto the "Time & Dates" tab.
>From the "First day of the week:" dropdown, select Sunday.

This will affect all kde applications.

A logout/login might be required

That's really good news!
Will you provide kde-3.5.5 also for el3? Or is el3 to old for kde-3.5.5?

By the way, the main security problem in KDE 3.5.1 comes from a security
flaw in qt, which is now fixed in qt-3.3.7, see
http://www.trolltech.com/company/newsroom/announcements/press.2006-10-19.5434451733

Redhat patched kdelibs because of this problem
(https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2006-0720.html) - which is not
really necessary, if I can update to qt-3.3.7. Hope you will provide
qt-3.3.7 soon ;-)

Many thanks for your great work!

Urs

Get stuff done quickly with pre-integrated technology to make your job easier
Download IBM WebSphere Application Server v.1.0.1 based on Apache Geronimo
