Hello Rex,

I've been dying to get 3.5.5; thanks a million for all the great work! :-)

I ran into the following issue upon update :
On FC5 (i386) "yum update" complains about missing dependencies :
kdelibs-config
kdebase-config
kde-filesystem

Needed by kdelibs and kdebase.

Any hint will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
- Kefah.

Enable the "all-unstable" repo too. (;

Hello Rex,

how's everything?

Two issues with your KDE 3.5.5 packages:

1. Could you check out the flickering issue on kwin, http://bugs.kde.org/135250
Click to focus solved it for now but it's really anoying.

2. Having problem with kdenetwork?

Keep up the good work :)

I've been unable to connect to the RSS feed for kde-redhat-testing using
akregator in kontact for several days (> week?).
This is the URL it's using:
http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/5/i386/testing/repodata/latest-feed.xml
Is something borken on my end, or kde-redhat's end?

Thanks,
Tim

Hint: it fails to load when nothing is there, ie, fc5-testing is
currently empty. (:

I'll follow that report, thanks for the heads-up.

For the record, now that repo metadata creation is relatively speedy,
I'm going to start to work to deprecate the need for the "all" repos
(ie, the packages common to all distro-releases) by hard/symlinking
common packages into the distro-release-arch-specific repo(s).

That should put an end to this kind of problem.

Ah, sorry, nohing. Is just that it didn't upgrade kdenetwork, must have
been something with yum. It's ok now.

Not necessarily, after reading your post, I noticed that the fc6 builds
had gone awol, and rebuilt them.
