First, note that the fax interface is a quickly-made program to provide at
least
some basic fax support in KDE-2.2. Normally, it should be replaced (someone
else
started to work on it) by another more sophisticated program.
It is not a problem to make the name format configurable, however I think
that
this should be solved in the kab library: any application using kab probably
wants to use formatted names. The best would be to add a "formattedName"
field
in the kab library, based on localization settings.
