Hi,
	I have seen another group ( http://upcase.inf.upol.cz/ ) who are developing
"a fully UML-compliant open-source CASE tool that specializes in teamwork."
It looks quite interesting from the perspective of KUML as I am sure that many
things could be shared between the 2 projects ( and it seems that there are
MANY developers in that project :-).

Basically they seem to be working on a C++ core which communicates with various
GUIs thru CORBA ). Unfortunately hey do not have any real code or design docs 
available on their web site.
