Oops -- I've confused myself now. This is what my notes say:


Myth-red looks red when viewed reflectively, but cyan when viewed 
transmissively (thus, it vaguely resembles a dichroic filter). Myth-red over 
black is red, and myth-red over white is white.

Not that that makes things a bit clearer -- maybe a version of 
"combination red" -- or just an Italian equivalent abbreviation of 
"mythicial". It's a new term, after all.
