Unfortunately, I don't know about a good intro to this. The new pages
on the KDE2 architecture at http://developer.kde.org/kde2arch/ don't
provide it, either. The best info I could find so far is in a thread on
kde-devel at http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-devel&m=94572360507508&w=2
