Hello,
For me koffice should not release with kde2.1 before kword doesn't work, 
and I worked a lot on kspread,(so there are a lot of bugs).
And koffice is a big project and I don't think that it's a good idea to freeze
koffice now.
koffice developper must have more time to improve it.

For me I will want to improved kchart and kformular, but I don't have time 
for the moment, and I think that it's a good idea to wait a little
