In case that this is not fixed yet:

Feel free to remove it. It is in kmmessage.cpp, around
line 460:

    if (!replyToStr.isEmpty()) toStr += replyToStr + ", ";
-    else if (!loopToStr.isEmpty()) toStr = loopToStr + ", ";
    if (!from().isEmpty()) toStr += from() + ", ";
 
Unfortunately I have no time (and currently no CVS access) 
to do it myself.
