Yes, I did use the correct tag in the activeService call and the factory
declaration. As I said, the whole thing was working up to some kded changes
this week. But I have not specified a tag in the .desktop file. I was away for
2 weeks recently so I perhaps have missed some discussion/decition about where
the .dektop files for CORBA services should go. Can you give me a example?

Hm, there is only the .desktop file for the client (khelpcenter), I don't
understand why the tag is needed there. Or do we have a subdir with .desktop
files for CORBA services now?
