Hey Eligio

You should read this: http://techbase.kde.org/

TechBase is a very uptodate platform for everything around developing for KDE. 
For example, you are not using KDEs classes as you should (KMenuBar etc) as 
those things are automatically set up by an XML file. 

Why don't you start with this tutorial

   http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Using_KXmlGuiWindow

and after that 

   http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Using_KActions

The second tutorial explains the basics of the "UI by XML" stuff.

Also, you can always look at how other KDE applications are doing this.
