while i was playing with the QComboBox today i can see that the text
color of a selected item is ignored for some themes but honored in
others. for example testing a gui in designer with preview mode "B3"
shows the selected item text color is honored while in bluecurve it is
not. is there a way to override the theme setting for this so the bg/fg
is honored regardless of the desktop theme (ie the display in the
combobox should not always be black text).

also is there a way to make the selectables various colors rather than
just widget bg/fg...without subclassing list box items and paint()
method, etc.

i was hoping there would just be a set of objects somewhere that would
honor the usual text markup directives used in other places in qt but
QComboBox does not seem to work this way at all.

thx
