Subject:    compiling KDE and OpenGL

I'm a begineer, so if I seem dumb, it's becasue I am.  I'm having trouble
compiling some OpenGL functions in my KDE app.  In particular, gluOrtho2D
from the <glu.h>

Is there something special I have to do to get it to work?
