Hmm... that makes sense :-)
Creating a link from the K menu is 1 way to do it and probably the best way.
But this doesn't mean the link property dialog could be better. If a program
has a icon in its .desktop file, why isn't the default icon (spinning wheel)
replaced with this icon?
Some people never think of dragging a menuitem to the desktop. And some
people can't find the appropriate icon for the specified program.
But I should not complain and instead try to make a nice patch :-)
