Hi,
don'T want to flame, but with qt3 (kde 3) this whole discussion is just lost
time. People how comes from windows CAN use CTRL-C/P/X which works (at least
if they don'T know about the middle mousebutton selection) EXACTLY like on
windows. And people coming from other X11 apps, GNOME, ... will have the full
support of the 2 different clipboards (or better: the app internal selection
buffer + X11 clipboard). Where is the problem ? The users get the choise ;)
There is really no need to discuss, to fix or change, we now have really a
nearly perfect and much more important very standard conform system. If
windows users don't like the select & autocopy into the app selection, why
they use it ? They have there normal clipboard, too. And if they want to use
it, but don't like it, stop using the middle mouse button.

cu
Christoph
