I think this has been resolved in KDE 3.0, no?

I guess it is one of those things, if you come from Unix KDE's copy paste is 
just fine, if you come from windows it is broken...  Considering people are 
under the mis-impression that what ever Microsoft does is right we are at a 
disadvantage :P  I think though if you search the list archives this was delt 
with or is being delt with.

We are ready for the desktop, now we just have to break IT departments free of 
the snarls Microsoft has set up for them.  Microsoft knows this, and with 
.NET and Office they will keep users trapped.
