So someone would have to explicitly translate "Color" -> "Colour" because
otherwise "UK English" speakers may not understand what "Color" means?

I don't know, but I read a lot of American books and I don't have any
trouble understanding them, which leads me to believe that an American
who sees the word "Colour" should really not be too seriously
inconvenienced.

Seriously, all I wish for is that I can see my "native" spelling in the
applications that I write since it is more comfortable for me. If it
causes significant logistical or UI problems to our project, I guess I
can forgo that little pleasure.
