Package: kmail
Version: 1.2.2 (using KDE 2.2.0 \6alpha1)
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.0
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-80)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.5
OS/Compiler notes:

This is in regards to a kmail version 1.2.2 from www.linux-easy.com/daily, a daily \
CVS srpm dated 27/5/01

I use courier-imapd & Maildir to store messages locally on my machine while still \
being able to access them remotely.

courier-imap support messages being held in folders which also contain subfolders.

In my basic inbox I've got ~1600 messages, and when I click on it, the % bar at the \
bottom gets to about 6%, stops and says that there's 110 messages in the inbox.

Clicking on another folder then again on the inbox displays the message 'foo \
sorted_count 110, discovered_count 0, foler count 110' on stdout, and then another 50 \
messages are found, followed by 'foo sorted_count 110, discovered_count 0, foler \
count 160 '
Repaating the process gives me
'foo sorted_count 160, discovered_count 0, foler count 160'
foo sorted_count 160, discovered_count 0, foler count 200
foo sorted_count 160, discovered_count 40, foler count 211
on stdout, with 211/1600 messages appearing in the inbox.

I'd like to submit a more detailed bug report but couldn't find anything in the FAQ \
about what options to turn on when compiling, specific items to watch for etc.
