Although your bug report (#25982 - Upgrade to kde 2.1) might be valid, I
suggest you look for some help first. There are some user mailinglists on
www.kde.org/mailinglists.html and you might of course first want to contact
SuSE about this.

If the problem still exists (with 2.1.1 or 2.2 alpha2) then just let me know
and I will reopen your report.

Hello kde-team,

Actually I use KDE 1.1 for PowerPC on my Macintosh on SuSE Linux 7.0. 
I would upgrade to version 2.1, but it does not work. I have 
downloaded and installed the required packages an after all I started 
SuSEconfig. Now I can choose KDE2 on the Loginmanager but there is 
only a red screen for a few seconds an then crashes the start and the 
Loginmanager appears again.
Probably there is not a bug, but I do not find another Mailaddress. Sorry!
