From kde-bugs-dist Thu May 31 18:51:34 2001 From: imush () mail ! ru Date: Thu, 31 May 2001 18:51:34 +0000 To: kde-bugs-dist Subject: Bug#26491: Wrong fonts kmail (khtml?) X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-bugs-dist&m=99133595126845 Package: kmail Version: KDE 2.1.1 Severity: normal Installed from: FreeBSD Ports Compiler: gcc 2.95.3 OS: FreeBSD OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified This is related to a KHTML bug, and was also submitted as such. However, kmail has a dialog for message body display font, and it does not work. I put helvetica as my prefered message body font, and nothing happens. I still get an ugly scaled version of Times there, no matter html or plain text (and in Konqueror as well). I made the font server to only serve unscaed fonts, and it became tolerable. However, I still want helvetica font back in message display (I use cyrillic, and the common Russian cronyx times font is rather ugly, whereas helvetica is nice). This happened suddenly and I can't determine what caused Kmail and Konqueror change my settings. It happened after recompiling KDE with new kdelibs 2.1.2 (FreeBSD 4.3, KDE 2.1.1 port), but it worked fine for a few days. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
