Subject: kword winword filter missing
From: rho.linux-br@bol.com.br

Package: kword
Version: 1.1 (pre-beta2) (using KDE 2.1.2 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Linux-Mandrake 8.0 i586
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Linux-Mandrake 8.0 2.96-0.48mdk)
OS: Linux 2.4.3-27mdksmp i686
OS/Compiler notes:

I'm using Mandrake 8.0, and by the end of installation I have noticed that Kword \
won't open Winword 97 files (feature that is avalible in other versions and \
distibutions). Package installed: koffice-2.0.1-11mdk.i586.rpm. It doesnt't give me \
the option in the open file dialog box!

I have downloaded koffice-1.1-0.beta2.1mdk.i586.rpm, and installed it, but I still \
have the same problem.

It seams that Mandrake doesn't want us to open ms format!?
