While I'm not entirely on board with this, I can understand the logic (presumably, because people did it by accident too often). However, there is a loophole where the behavior still exists, where it unquestionably should not... middle clicking on the scroll bar. Since the behavior of middle click and scroll bars is well defined to mean 'move the scroll handle to here', there should be no other effects from this action, and certainly not navigating to some other page! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open any site "big" enough to have a page scroll bar (note: nested scroll bars, at least for e.g. input fields, don't trigger the behavior). 2. Select some text so that the selection buffer is non-empty. 3. Middle click somewhere on the scroll bar, e.g. to scroll within the page. Actual Results: Page scrolls as expected, very briefly, but then Konqueror navigates to the "URL" that is in the selection buffer (i.e. the text selected in (2)). Expected Results: Page should scroll, but *no navigation* should occur. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
