I don't understand.
Why getting the PAM userid from PAM after authentication does not meet your \
definition?
If PAM does not change the userid it works.
If PAM does change the userid it works.
So it is win-win situation.
And with simple modification... That allows user to enter "pamid" and kde to get \
"unixuser", where on most systems: "pamid"="unixuser".
Even with "classic"...
Can you find a sequence that worked so far that fails after my suggested \
modification? If you can, can you please explain it to me?
