OS/Compiler notes: 

At the moment you can hide only single scales in the kmix-applet. If you want to \
reenable e.g. CDROM-Volume, you have to select "Show All" and thern disable all other \
scales again.

I think a decent gui with check boxes like this:

> O   PCM          |
> O   CDROM        |

would be preferable.

You could even add "Hide All" and "Show All" buttons.

Something for KDE-3.1... :-)
