KPlayer is a KDE multimedia player based on MPlayer. With KPlayer you can \
easily play a wide variety of video and audio files and streams using a \
rich and friendly interface that follows KDE standards.

The new 0.6.1 version adds an option to control volume independently of \
other programs, mixer device and channel options for ALSA and OSS sound \
output, and also includes a fix to keep the system audio volume when \
starting up, a fix for various problems when coming back from full screen, \
and a few translation updates.

KPlayer is licensed under GPL.

KPlayer 0.6.1 is available for download at
http://kplayer.sourceforge.net/#downloads
