Hi,

Last night I installed bash 2.02.1 onto my Red Hat 5.1 (2.0.35) system.  I
upgraded from bash 1.14.7.  Upon rebooting and trying to log into the kde
session, I was bounced back to the kdm login window.  When I reinstall
bash 1.14.7, I was able to login.

QUESTIONS:
1) Is kde able to run with bash 2.02.1 (installed in /bin)?

2) If kde is able to run with bash 2.02.1 what do you think I did wrong in
setting up bash to work with kde? 

3) If kde is not able to run with bash 2.02.1, why?

4) Can you please provide directions to enable kde with bash 2.02.1?
