But how to create the DBusConnection on top of an open >filedescriptor without using those internal functions? You're not. There's no guarantee that the underlying transport system uses file=20 descriptors at all. So those functions are internal. If/when libdbus hides its symbols (think ELF visibility or Win32 DLLs),=20 you will not be able to call those functions. =2D-=20 Thiago Jos=E9 Macieira - thiago.macieira AT trolltech.com Trolltech AS - Sandakerveien 116, NO-0402 Oslo, Norway --nextPart16915668.HpLUPoKu99 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBEixifM/XwBW70U1gRAgLfAJsF3WoYhoewvizESTQqWuP4yXdanQCfVk1a tWJIEEm6ddZQp+1NeTs96EM= =CvOi -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart16915668.HpLUPoKu99--
