Fwiw, the last log posted had this:
amarok: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/kde4/amarok_data_engine_lyrics.so:
undefined symbol: _ZN13ScriptManager17notifyFetchLyricsERK7QStringS2_

If you happen to have the distro-supplied amarok still installed, remove that
one while testing a build from source (to be on the safe side).
