Many of my songs have a comment stored in their metadata, but it seems the only
way to see them is to open the tag editor. It would be nice if it were
displayed in the context view. And it would make more sense for me to actually
add comments to songs...

Maybe this should be an optional feature, because it would enlarge the current
track context view. Activation could be via double-click somewhere in the
current track context view. Or it could be a tooltip-like display, triggered by
a mouse hover somewhere in the context view. Whatever. But it would be really
nice to have this information easily shown for the current track.
