More details on the bug :
Since this bug was not repeatable I had a look at the collection file.
Actually this was not a matter of character but most certainly a wrong line inserted \
in 'collection.db'
By running "sqlite3 collection.db", I checked the different lines related to the \
different podcasts and noticed that the podcasts that triggered the error had a \
directory name instead of file name.
sqlite> select * from podcastepisodes WHERE title like '%Kosovo%2/5%';
386|...|file:///home/lwinkler/.kde/share/apps/amarok/podcasts/RSR%20-%20Histoire%20vivante%20-%20La%201%C3%A8re/| \
...
Instead of :
sqlite> select * from podcastepisodes WHERE title like '%Kosovo%3/5%';
392|...|file:///home/lwinkler/.kde/share/apps/amarok/podcasts/RSR%20-%20Histoire%20vivante%20-%20La%201%C3%A8re/histoire-vivante20080130-150000.mp3|...
Now this certainly explain why the whole folder is selected instead of one single \
file. However this is certainly due to a wrong INSERT query (and possibly to an \
aborted download). The problem is that this error does not correct itself by \
refreshing the podcast list and it is also impossible to re-download the file.
Personally I corrected the problem by suppressing the line in the sql database and \
refreshing the list
I would suggest that once this problem has been noted this issue should be closed. \
And for a further version, it would be good to add this feature : if someone \
refreshes the podcast list, the presence of each mp3 file on the disk is checked and \
if a file is missing, it is noted so that it can be downloaded again. \
