Er, ouch. That OpenSuse screenshot portraits Ozone in the ugliest possible way... I \
do hope that it's not going to become default like that.

What about we keep Oxygen as default, and users like the ones in here (and in the \
other thread) can use Ozone as alternative until Oxygen works for all people \
involved?

In my opinion, forking in order to address personal/public/usability/whatever needs \
is totally fine. What I disagree with is that the KWin default is being changed at \
the same time - Ozone didn't become the default because it's more popular or better \
in technical aspects or because it has been agreed on by either k-c-d or kde-artist, \
but simply because of the KWin maintainer's personal preference.

It might be your right to do that, but in the context of a "we are a united KDE \
community" I still find it an abuse of maintainership powers. It might be necessary \
to have a "dictator" deciding on this issue (think of another Apple comparison) but I \
don't see why it should be Lubos' sole decision - artists and usability experts \
(experts!) have just as many stakes in here, and the fact that the switch belongs to \
the KWin codebase should not be the all-important empowerment. \
