I wonder if there has been any progress made in this direction, or if there is any \
hope of getting a message notification behavior that is actually useful for me and \
many others? At least some hidden option in some configuration file, if you don't \
want to overfill options dialogs? If it's only some lines of code to change...

Meanwhile I have switched to Gaim, because it has a flashing systray icon if new \
messages arrive, and (another nice feature) it is only one click to mute all sounds \
if you are, for example, listening to music and don't want to get the ICQ noises. \
Other than that, Gaim is sometime a pain in the a.., and I'd rather like Kopete to \
get useable for me. After all, my desktop is KDE, not Gnome.
