Unless your distro does something different, in a newly created account there
should only be hidden directories and since Konqueror dows not show hidden
folders by default typeing ~/ should yield what you got. Hence, this is not a
bug unless there were some non-hidden folders to being with. Feel free to
reopen the ticket if that was the case for you.
