Same behavior here with 3.1rc3 compiled from source.  Tried it again after I deleted ALL 
cookies, and enabled all java pop-ups (java and javascript enabled).  Tried setting the user 
agent identity to Navigator 4.76 and then IE 5.5.  Konqueror doesn't crash, but the Netscape 
webserver eventually comes back with an error pages stating: 
 
"Sorry, An Error Occurred." 
 
which doesn't say more than what is already known.  I don't know if this ever worked with 
3.1rcX, but it did with 3.0.4. 
 
If I look at the new cookies generated, I see two domains making them:  
my.screenname.aol.com and screenname.aol.com.  Interesting, the MC_CMP_SLX and 
MC_CMP_SX cookies from screenname.aol.com both have expire dates of 12/11/22 at 3:05 
PM, although they were made at about 3:05 PM on 12/16/02.  The MC_MS_LDC cookie (only 
other from that host) has an expire date of 12/31/05 6:59 PM.  All cookies from 
my.screenname.aol.com have an end of session expiration.  Tried deleting all cookies again 
and selecting the "all cookies as session cookies" option and same behavior.
