Subject: Citrix ICA Client plugin npica.so fails to load
From: mmh@gmx.net
X-KDE-Received: -134.155.89.223

Package:           nsplugins
Version:           KDE 2.9.0 3 (CVS >= 20020213)
Severity:          normal
Installed from:    SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.4.16-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:

The ICA client plugin which is available from www.citrix.com together with the ICA \
Client for unix does not work in konqueror (and mozilla, too, btw)

When I do nspluginscan I get the following error:
kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: library=/home/moritz/.netscape/plugins/npica.so: \
file=/home/moritz/.netscape/plugins/npica.so: \
/home/moritz/.netscape/plugins/npica.so: undefined symbol: xmDrawingAreaWidgetClass

Is there anything one could do about this? Sounds like a problem with Motif to me.

The ICA client would be quite nice to have because the JAVA ICA web client from \
citrix only works with Java-1.1, which is of course not available with either Mozilla \
or Konqueror. Thus users of this service at our university are stuck with Netscape \
4.x, which sucks soooo badly, that I could cry, whenever I have to start it.
