Hi!

The stack trace is useless and what you describe works just fine. Can you
update and compile with --enable-debug?

Greetings, Stephan

has caused the attached bug report to be marked as done.

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.
If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the
bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

(NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what I'm
talking about this indicates a serious mail system misconfiguration
somewhere. Please contact me immediately.)

Subject: Crashes when leaving embedded mode

Package: konqueror
Version: KDE 2.9.2 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 2.95.3
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Slackware 8.0

How to reproduce:
Make sure you have an file located in your home directory which konqueror will open \
embedded if you click on it. Start konqueror and have it startup in the home \
directory, ie by hitting alt+f2 and typing "~". When Konqueror has started up, click \
on the file which Konqueror will open in embedded mode, then click the back button - \
konqueror crashes. Konqueror will not crash if you:
* Write in an address in the addressbar instead of clicking the back button.
* If you change directory and then opens the file(eg. moving to a subdirectory and \
then moving back and opening the file).

Note, all instances of Konqueror crashes when you reproduce this bug. So don't have \
any half written bugreports open in konqueror ;-)

cu,
/Frans
