Sorry, but unlikely :-]

The kuniqueapplication problem is that the application is basically started 
from an event-loop of a dialog box before kapp.exec() was reached. 
That only happens when you have a dialogbox before kapp.exec().

This backtrace contained kapp.exec() though. It seems like it crashed on PNG 
loading (??)
