Firstly, I have to say that I'm really sorry if this question is already answered in \
the mailing-list archive, but I just didn't find any answers, althought I found a few \
with similar problems.
Now to the point:
When I type startx, the X-windows systems seems to run normally. First the screen \
with black and white pixels appears, then the background turns to light-blue. Then \
suddenly X shuts down.
Here's something from my logs:
------------
(II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Mouse0" (type: MOUSE)
parse error: line 1 of stdin
Errors encountered in stdin; not compiled.
Couldn't load XKB keymap, falling back to pre-XKB keymap
maudio: Cannot open audio device.
kpanel: Waiting for windowmanager
krootwm: error in loading shared libraries: /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6: undefined \
symbol: _xstat
kwm: error in loading shared libraries: /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6: undefined symbol \
_fxstat
waiting for X server to shut down X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or \
server shutdown).
-------------
I am using RedHat 6.0, XFree86 4.0 and Kde 1.1.2.

Risto Karjalainen
