Hi --

I think I've broken a bit of KDE, hopefully not irrepairably.
I built and installed a copy of kdelibs while I had a version of KDE
working nicely (don't ask me why).

After re-booting the system, I found that everything worked fine as
before, except for the KPanel. Clicking on icons on the bar does
nothing. Clicking on the Application Starter produces the menu as usual,
but selecting menu options does nothing.

I now have to access applications via kdelinks on the background or
through a terminal window.

Does anyone know what I should do to put things right?

Should I have re-installed kdelibs with kdesupport and kdebase in a
support, libs, base order? And if I do this now, is it likely to break it
even more? I'm using Linux Mandrake 6.0 if that helps...

Cheers,
Archie.
