Well, to me that's not the best place for a $KDEDIR, as /usr/bin/X11 is
also used by X apps of all types, for fonts, and so forth, and things can
get rather confusing.

When you change $KDEDIR from the default (/usr/local/kde) you do have
to remember to add --prefix along with your new setting for it,
on each and every configure, lest thy files end up someplace else. :)
